Swimming is a lifelong skill that offers many physical and mental benefits. However, it can take some time to learn how to swim. In general, most people need around 8-10 lessons to feel confident in the water. However, this varies depending on the individual's prior experience, level of comfort, and age. Children, for example, tend to pick up swimming skills more quickly than adults. Those who have had some experience with swimming - such as through boating or water sports - may also require fewer lessons. Ultimately, the best way to determine how many lessons you need is to consult with a qualified swimming instructor. They will be able to assess your abilities and provide guidance on how to best reach your goals.
Yes, you may cancel your swimming lesson. However, we require 24 hours notice in order to process the cancellation. If you do not provide 24 hours notice, your swim lesson will not be refunded. We understand that life can be unpredictable, but we ask that you please try to give us as much notice as possible so that we can offer the spot to someone else on the waiting list. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
Your swimming lesson package is good for one year from the day you purchased it. This allows you to spread your lessons out over the course of a year and take them at your convenience. It also means that you can take a break from lessons if you need to and pick up where you left off without having to pay for a new package.
Only after the client is completely satisfied with the first lesson, they are asked to choose a package and make payments for further lessons. This policy allows us to maintain high standards of customer service and ensure that our clients get the most out of their swimming lessons. In addition, it offers a degree of flexibility that is not always available with other swim schools.

One of the most important aspects of proper swimming form is maintaining a horizontal position in the water. This can be difficult to do at first, but it is essential for achieving efficient and effective movement through the water. Floating devices such as flotation belts can make it easier to stay afloat, but they also encourage a vertical position in the water. This can make it harder to break the habit once you are trying to learn proper swimming form. For this reason, we do not recommend using any floating devices when you are first learning how to swim.
Only floating devices that you can use when teaching your kid how to swim is are life jackets for kids and swimming kickboards that will help them to maintain horizontal position in the water. Don't use puddle jumper because floaties of this model encourages vertical position.

There are a variety of factors that can affect the duration of your swimming lesson, such as age, fitness level and swimming background experience. For young children aged 1-3 years, we recommend 30 minute class settings. This is the perfect amount of time to keep a toddler engaged and active in the process. For children aged 4-6 years, we recommend 30-45 minute classes. And for kids aged 6 and up/teenagers, we recommend at least 45 minute classes. As for adults, the recommended class duration is based on fitness level and stamina. Those with a higher fitness level can do a one hour class, while those with a lower fitness level can stick to a 45 minute class.

Swim lessons are a great way for kids to learn how to stay safe in the water, but it's important for parents to know when to step in and when to let the instructors take over. For kids aged 1-2, we require that parents stay in the water with their child and oversee the lesson. This allows the parent to provide support and assistance as needed, and it helps the child feel more comfortable in the water. For older kids, we recommend that parents stay out of the sight of their child during the lesson. This helps the child focus on the instructions and increases their independence. However, parents should still be close by in case they are needed. By following these guidelines, parents can ensure that their child gets the most out of their swim lessons.
